Datamine Network has launched its Open Beta v5 update, delivering over 33 new features and optimizations over the past four months. This release marks a significant milestone in our five-year development history, focusing on smart contract efficiency, transaction throughput, and refining our decentralized yield-by-burning monetary model. ## Smart Account and Layer 2 Compatibility To address modern wallet architecture updates where Smart Accounts are now default, we deployed a new delegation smart contract. Due to ERC-777 constraints, minting directly to these accounts was previously restricted. The new smart contract allows validators to delegate their minting to a simple contract that bypasses the ERC-1820 registration requirements and transfers tokens securely to the intended recipient. Transactions remain highly optimized on Arbitrum Layer 2, costing approximately $0.01 per transaction compared to historic Layer 1 fees of up to $30. ## GameFi Advancements and Liquidity Stability The update builds upon our unique Liquidity Game Engine, incorporating Datamine Gems and the HODL Clicker game. These on-chain modules are designed to maximize validator APY and increase monetary velocity. By inviting bots and humans to participate in transaction-incentivized minting, we ensure a constant stream of decentralized burn throughput. Simultaneously, the LOCK token continues to secure our permanent liquidity pools. When LOCK is burned, half the tokens are swapped for ETH and both are added back into the permanent pool. This protocol-controlled liquidity mechanism has successfully driven LOCK yearly supply inflation below the 100% milestone, with projections trending further down to ~50% in the coming year.
