## Joining the Marketing Foundation To participate in the decentralized governance of the Datamine Marketing Foundation, members must lock exactly 100 FLUX in exchange for 100 non-transferable DAMFUND voting tokens. This membership cap is strictly enforced to prevent governance manipulation and preserve 51% attack resistance. Prospective members can initiate this request via the Aragon portal and must verify their Ethereum addresses in the designated community channel to gain approval. ## Address Privacy and Security For participants prioritizing on-chain privacy, linking a personal Ethereum address to a public identity may be undesirable. To mitigate this, users can route fresh funds from an exchange or mixer to a new, clean Ethereum address, acquire FLUX on Uniswap, and submit the DAO request from that anonymous address. ## Redemption and Withdrawal Membership is entirely voluntary. If you decide to leave the DAO, you can redeem your FLUX at any time using the Redemption application. This process burns your DAMFUND voting tokens and returns your locked FLUX, officially ending your participation in the foundation's marketing decisions.
