## Addressing EIP-712 Hardware Wallet Compatibility As the Datamine Network prepares for the upcoming Alpha launch, our development team is actively addressing hardware wallet compatibility. Currently, Ledger Nano S does not support EIP-712 (eth_signTypedData signing), which prevents these hardware addresses from generating Alpha invitation links directly. To resolve this, we are implementing a workaround: allowing your delegated minter to sign on behalf of your locked DAM address. This maintains security while ensuring users with hardware wallets can seamlessly participate in the network test. ## Alpha Invitation Metrics and Syncing Updates The Alpha test phase is strictly invite-only, starting with Most Valuable Builders (MVBs) and Community Assistants. To reward ecosystem participation, the number of invitation links allocated to eligible participants scales with their FLUX burn activity, including both burned and received burns: * **Any FLUX amount**: 1 Alpha link * **10 FLUX**: 2 Alpha links (2 beta queue spots) * **20 FLUX**: 3 Alpha links (3 beta queue spots) * **100 FLUX**: 5 Alpha links (5 beta queue spots) * **1000 FLUX**: 10 Alpha links (10 beta queue spots) Additionally, we have temporarily disabled automatic Ethereum syncing for this testing phase. The team will run manual syncs to keep the test environment updated to the latest block.
