## Seamless Layer 1 to Layer 2 Bridging Datamine FLUX, which has operated securely for five years, is transitioning heavily toward Arbitrum Layer 2. Originally minted on Ethereum Layer 1 by locking DAM tokens, FLUX can now be seamlessly bridged to Layer 2. This is made possible through a custom ERC777 bridge developed in collaboration with Arbitrum. Moving FLUX to Layer 2 addresses historically high Ethereum gas fees, reducing transaction costs from up to $30 down to approximately $0.01. ## Powering the Multi-Chain Token Ecosystem Bridging FLUX to Arbitrum unlocks the next phase of the Datamine monetary ecosystem. Once on Layer 2, FLUX can be locked to generate ArbiFLUX, which in turn can be locked to mint LOCK. This multi-chain flow increases transaction velocity, enhances stability, and supports a highly liquid decentralized network. This architecture enables community-driven GameFi applications like Datamine Gems and HODL Clicker to run efficiently without high gas barriers.
