The Datamine Network has updated its on-chain tracking metrics to better reflect historical ecosystem participation. Specifically, the threshold for an Ethereum address to be considered a "Dormant Validator" has been extended from two years to over three years of minting inactivity. This strategic adjustment allows a larger portion of the user base to remain classified as active validators. ## Strengthening Active Participation By expanding the dormancy window to three years, the network ensures that long-term participants who maintain their positions are accurately captured in the active validator index. Currently, there is only 483,000 FLUX remaining unmined across these active validator addresses. This represents less than 12% of the current FLUX supply, illustrating that the vast majority of generated utility has been successfully claimed or burned within the ecosystem. ## Long-Term Ecosystem Stability As the Datamine Network continues to mature, this metric adjustment highlights the increasing stability of its decentralized monetary architecture. With a low volume of unmined FLUX resting in active addresses, the potential for unexpected market pressure remains exceptionally low. This milestone reinforces the security and predictability of the network's deflationary mechanisms across both Layer 1 Ethereum and Layer 2 Arbitrum.
