The Datamine Network team has rolled out a new technical update to its decentralized application (dApp) to improve accessibility and compatibility across various Ethereum wallets. ## Legacy Wallet Compatibility and EIP-1559 While many modern Web3 interfaces like MetaMask default to EIP-1559 transactions, not all Ethereum wallets have updated to support this standard. To prevent transaction failures for users utilizing older or alternative wallet software, the Datamine dApp now features a toggle to turn EIP-1559 transactions on or off. This optional setting allows users to interact seamlessly with the DAM and FLUX smart contracts regardless of their preferred wallet provider. ## Improving DeFi Accessibility As a fully decentralized smart contract system with no single point of failure, Datamine relies entirely on on-chain mechanics and community participation. Making the dApp compatible with legacy infrastructure ensures that all network participants can continue locking DAM, minting FLUX, and managing their on-chain yield without technical friction. Users can access this new toggle directly within the settings menu of the official Datamine dashboard.
