## The Challenge: ERC777 and MetaMask Smart Accounts MetaMask's transition to Smart Accounts by default has introduced compatibility friction with the ERC777 token standard. Smart Accounts often lack the required ERC-1820 registry hook needed to receive tokens via ERC777's native send() function, resulting in transaction failures. ## The Solution: Delegated ERC20 Bridge Contract To restore seamless functionality, the Datamine Network has deployed a specialized smart contract helper. Instead of relying on the standard send() mechanism, the new helper contract handles the minting process and routes the assets using a standard ERC20-compatible transfer() function. This effectively bypasses the ERC-1820 registration requirement, enabling full compatibility with modern ERC-4337 Smart Accounts on Layer 2 Arbitrum.
